Your dog, especially if he is a puppy, enjoys playing with his toys almost as much as you do. Some dogs lose interest after a certain age, but most will play with a favorite toy all their life.

Toys let your dog express himself, learn skills and coordination as well as keep him entertained and happy. There are many types of suitable indoor and outdoor toys to select from.

If you don't always have time to take Rover for a walk, you can help him get his exercise using a ball or frisbee or just a plain stick.
